PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a building with a garage that can render a first-floor part usable as a garage and a room without employing such a complicated structure as moves a floor slab of the second floor. SOLUTION: The building 1 includes a garage space 2, in which a vertically movable moving floor 23 is disposed, except in a part, for lifting motion up to under a ceiling surface. The moving floor 23 has lighting and the like on a bottom surface. When the moving floor 23 is lifted, the garage space under the moving floor is a garage, and when the moving floor is lowered, a top surface of the moving floor is a floor face of a room.
