METHOD FOR PRODUCING RELEASE PAPER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing release paper having good printing suitability, writing suitability, stamping suitability and ink-jet printing suitability and partially provided with release agent layers. SOLUTION: The method for producing the release paper is carried out as follows. A blowoff port 3 of a die-coating head 2 for coating a permeation preventing agent is arranged oppositely to a transfer passage of continuous paper 1 and deckles 4 and 4a are set in the blowoff port 3 in other parts than those corresponding to expected parts for providing a release agent of the continuous paper 1 in the blowoff port 3. Thereby, a closed state is obtained. The permeation preventing agent is resultantly coated corresponding to the expected parts for providing the release agent while transferring the continuous paper 1 to form the permeation preventing layers 5. The top surfaces of the permeation preventing layers 5 are then coated with the release agent to partially form release agent layers. The paper is then cut to a prescribed size. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
