PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light and inexpensive air conditioner for helmet, having a small size, easily being put on and off and capable of conditioning, heating and ventilating the helmet without applying any processing to all conventional helmets. SOLUTION: A Peltier module 2 used for air conditioning and heating and fans 3, 4 of integrated heat sink are assembled to an air conditioning unit 5 and installed to a conventional helmet. An air passage 6 for air conditioning formed of a highly moisture-absorbing fiber material is fixed in the helmet. The fan 3 of the air conditioner and an inlet 8 of the air passage 6 for air conditioning are fixed and air for air conditioning are released from a large number of radially processed holes of the air passage for air conditioning. As a power source used for the air conditioning, a Ni-Cd battery 7 attached to the air conditioning unit 5. The electric power is reduced, as all parts are installed inside and outside of the helmet.
