<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor which attains an editing limited to a local part of a gray scale transformation curve and freely adjusts the density and emphasis degree of a specified position when output of image data is adjusted, and to provide a method thereof. <P>SOLUTION: The image processor 10 comprises an image read-in part 11, a gray scale transformation curve parameter storage part 5, a gray scale transformation curve setting part 2, and an image display part 12 which performs a transformation to a display form corresponding to an output device 13. The gray scale transformation curve setting part 2 can change parameters for local parts of the gray scale transformation curve 15 by adding, deleting, and moving arbitrary control points among a plurality of control points determining the curve shape of the gray scale transformation curve by an input device 1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
