PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide technology by which an image created by customizing a character by a user's taste is displayed even on a portable terminal with low ability and with a small screen.

SOLUTION: A user freely selects a favorite basic character and options to be mounted on the character as watching the image of the character on a Web by accessing a content server 1 from a computer 2. The selected basic character is displayed at a state that the character mounts the favorite options on the computer 2. When the final basic character and the options to be mounted on the character are decided, the image of the basic character on which the options are mounted is converted into an image for a cellular telephone 7. Then, converted image data is downloaded from the cellular telephone 7 and the user's favorite character image is also displayed on the cellular telephone 7.
