<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an order entry system for managing or controlling orders from customers in a batch, and accepting meal reservation, seat guide, and meal material ordering in an eating place such as a restaurant or a bar. <P>SOLUTION: This order entry system is configured of order terminal equipment 4 having a means for executing an ordering operation and an inputting/ outputting operation necessary for a meal reserving task by a staff, an order managing device 5 for storing and processing order data and meal reservation data, an order printing device 6 for instructing and outputting the order data and the meal reservation data to a person in charge in a kitchen, and a communicating medium 7 for connecting those devices. Thus, it is possible for any staff to easily execute the unitary management of all the reservation relevant tasks by using the arbitrary order terminal equipment. Therefore, it is possible to efficiently solve the above mentioned problem, and to improve service performance for customers.
