PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To insert a target TS packet even without a TS packet to be discarded, and further to arbitrarily set a position of a TS packet to be inserted. SOLUTION: When there is no TS packet of a replacing target in an input transport stream S100, a PID comparator 102 outputs a new TS packet in place of a discarded TS packet and further, when there is no TS packet discarded by the PID comparator 102, an arbitrary TS packet in the input transport stream S100 is replaced with the new TS packet and outputted. Thus, even without the TS packet to be discarded, the target TS packet is inserted and further, the position of the TS packet to be inserted is arbitrarily set. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
