PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a picture display device or the like from which information can be visually acquired with ease. SOLUTION: A sub-monitor 71 having a sub-display section 72 is attached on a main monitor 61 having a main display section 62. The sub-monitor 71 can slide on the main monitor 61 and, corresponding to the slide of the sub- monitor 71, the map displayed on the sub-display section 72 is so changed as to keep the continuity between the main map displayed on the main display section 62 of the main monitor 61 and the sub-map displayed on the sub-display section 72 of the sub-monitor 71.
