PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooling structure of a structural member composed to prevent further rise of temperature exceeding a specific value when the temperature of a structural member exposed to high temperature at the time of working reaches the specific value, like an air intake duct structural member. SOLUTION: A melting member 14 having a melting point near the workable upper limit temperature of the structural member is adhered and attached on a surface opposite to the surface heated by heat of compression of air in the structural member constituting the air intake duct 13 of an airframe. A sensor for detecting the melting of the melting member 14 is provided. According to the cooling structure, when the temperature of the air intake duct 13 is increased by being heated by heat of compression of air and the temperature of the air intake duct structural member reaches near the workable upper limit temperature, the melting member 14 having a melting point of the workable upper limit temperature is melted from the solid state to the liquid state by the heat transmission from the air intake duct 13 adhered and the melting heat is deprived from the air intake duct structural member.
