PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a picture displayed on a self light emitting type picture display board from being hardly viewable because of ambient brightness without increasing power consumption in a digital camera obtaining picture data expressing a subject image by forming the subject image on a solid-state image sensor. SOLUTION: The digital camera is equipped with a self light emitting type picture display board 20 for displaying the picture based on the picture data, and a deflecting plate 22 covering the board 20 so as to be freely openable/ closable.
