PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a valve element made of alumina ceramics as a base substance and has high corrosion resistance of its slideway, and also to provide a warm water faucet valve using the valve element and having excellent durability. SOLUTION: The alumina ceramics valve element is made of alumina ceramics as the base substance, the slideways of the base substance is covered with amorphous alumina and the top of it is covered with diamond-like carbon. The warm water faucet valve has at least a pair of valve elements which slide each other, and the alumina ceramics valve element of this constitution is used for at least one valve element.
