PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lock device for a dimple key that can ensure an unlocking action by continuously accurately aligning dimples in a flat dimple key with pin tumblers. SOLUTION: The lock device for a dimple key, which comprises a housing 1 with fixed contacts 6a, a turning member 2 with moving contacts 7a, the plurality of pin tumblers 3 arrayed concentrically with a turning axis of the turning member, and slide pieces 4 slidable between a permitting position to permit a turn of the turning member 2 and a locking position to restrict it in an interlocked relation to a vertical slide of the pin tumblers 3, comprises a cap 5 swingable between a closing position to cover and close an upper end face of the turning member 2 and an opening position to open the upper end face.
