PURPOSE: A plasma display panel and a fabricating method thereof are provided to enhance the stability of the plasma display panel by preventing the contact between the external air and an electrode pad portion. CONSTITUTION: A plasma display panel includes a pair of sustain electrodes, a pair of metal electrodes(3), data electrodes, a metal electrode pad(11), a data electrode pad, the first flexible printed circuit, the second flexible printed circuit, and an anti-humidity layer(18). The sustain electrodes are formed on the first substrate. The metal electrodes(3) are formed on edges of the sustain electrodes. The data electrodes are formed on the second substrate. The metal electrode pad(11) is connected between one side of the first substrate and the metal electrodes(3) to receive electrode control signals from the outside. The data electrode pad is connected between one side of the second substrate and the data electrodes to receive data electrode control signals from the outside. The first flexible printed circuit is connected between one side of the first substrate and the metal electrode pad(11) to supply the electrode control signals to the metal electrode pad(11). The second flexible printed circuit is connected between one side of the second substrate and the data electrode pad to supply the electrode control signals to the data electrode pad. The anti-humidity layer(18) is formed by coating nanocomposite on the first and the second substrates. |
