<p>The process for correcting postal addresses includes the extraction of elements from an address label, and comparison with reference information to identify these elements, enabling the extraction of a correct address. The procedure for correction and monitoring of postal addresses uses an SAT type heuristic algorithm which offers a sweeping process, searching for elements of a valid address within the words and numbers which are displayed in an incorrect address. An exhaustive referencing system is used, with semantic information, and information relating to common words and physical divisions on the map in order to recognise and correct information which is displayed. This may operate in a specific language or local dialect.</p> |
