PURPOSE: A cover for a golf head is provided to secure easy covering/separation of the golf head, and to enable the user to appropriately choose a desired one according to the use of a golf club. CONSTITUTION: The golf head cover comprises a head protecting member covering the head of a golf club, a divided cover body unit(7) connected to the head protecting member and having first and second members(11,13), the cover body unit being provided so as to cover the shaft of the golf club or being provided at a position separable from the golf club shaft, and an elastic member(15) mounted to the cover body unit and adapted to elastically pull the divided portion of the cover body unit, thereby allowing the divided portion to come into close contact with the outer peripheral surface of the shaft of the golf club.
