<p>The present invention describes the use of a transposon which recognises a dinucleotide target site, in particular Minos, in the generation of a library of mutants. In particular, the present invention describes a method of producing a library of genetic mutations in a cell population by insertional mutagenesis comprising introducing a transposon which targets a dinucleotide recognition sequence into a cell, combining it with a transposase and identifying cells having a transposon integration event.</p> |
