The device has a first load introduction body with a spherical application surface, a specimen support and a load device for pressing the first body onto the specimen. Force is applied via the first support surface orthogonally to the first surface. The support is a counter bearing to the load device and a second load introduction body with a spherical supporting surface positioned on the second surface orthogonal to the first supporting surface. The device has a first load introduction body (2) with a first spherical application surface, a support on which the specimen (6) rests with the second surface and a load device for pressing the first load introduction body onto the specimen, whereby force is applied via the first support surface orthogonally to the first surface and the support acts as a counter bearing to the load device. The support is a second load introduction body (3) with a second spherical supporting surface positioned on the second surface orthogonally relative to the first spherical supporting surface.
