<p>A photoluminescent tile composition made of a tile base (18) and a matrix of photoluminescent material (16) disbursed throughout the tile base (18). The tile base (18) includes a non-transparent mineral filler. The photoluminescent material (16) located on exposed surfaces absorb and release light. Conventional manufacturing methods and equipment for manufacture conventional floor tile are readily adaptable to manufacture photoluminescent floor tiles from the tile composition.</p> |
