Delivery (8) and induction (9) sides interlink in a flow-in area (4) on a flow-in edge (18) and in a flow-out area on a flow-out edge (5) by creating a cavity (10) in a radial direction for cool air/steam. This cavity is separated by radially aligned stays (6,7) into cooling channels (12-14) running radially. An Independent claim is also included for a method for cooling a turbine blade.
