VECTOR FOR GENE SILENCING AND GENE SILENCING METHOD USING THE SAME

摘要

A vector for gene silencing which has an enhancer sequence in the downstream of a promoter and a gene encoding a potivirus-origin coat protein in the downstream thereof. To induce gene silencing in a specific target gene in a host plant, this vector is employed by inserting the target gene in the vicinity of the gene encoding the coat protein.
