<p>A method of characterizing a tissue present in a predetermined location of a body of a subject, the method comprising: generating mechanical vibrations at a position adjacent to the predetermined location, the mechanical vibrations are at a frequency ranging from 10 Hz to 10 kHz; scanning the frequency of the mechanical vibrations; and measuring a frequency response spectrum from the predetermined location, thereby characterizing the tissue.</p> |
