FIELD: mechanical engineering; wheeled or crawler vehicles. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to caps of filler necks of fuel tanks of vehicles designed for riding off-road. Proposed cap for filler neck contains lining 1, inner body 2 and sealing gasket 3. inner body 2 is made in form of plate forming semi-closed distributing space "a" in cap. Tow pairs of holes "c" tilting in each pair to each other are made in side wall of plate tangentially to its bottom "b". said holes connect distributing space "a" with filler neck space of tank 5. Radial slots "d: are made on inner wall of lining 1 connecting said distributing space "a" with atmosphere. Filler neck cap is secured on filler neck, for instance, by means of turnable axle, shackle and two eyes. Invention prevents spontaneous discharge of fuel through filler neck cap, especially, in flat tanks when riding along rough terrains. EFFECT: improved reliability and safety. 3 dwg
