The invention relates to the use of stabiliser-free, superparamagnetic particles as an auxiliary agent in image-producing methods, and a contrast medium which contains superparamagnetic particles and is used in image-producing methods, especially in nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy or tomography, and in x-ray representation. Said superparamagnetic particles are preferably selected from metal oxides and/or metals, especially gamma -Fe2O3, Fe3O4, MnFe2O4, NiFe2O4, CoFe2O4 and any mixtures thereof. |
