The injection pump is an individual pump element projecting into the crank housing and actuated by a cam shaft through a roller tappet which actuates a plunger (3) which is sealed in the region on the tappet side from the plunger socket (4). The tappet is mounted in an oil-conveying space and the displacement sleeve (5) is sealed from the housing (6) in the area on the side of the work chamber. An oil stripper ring (10) is mounted between the plunger and sleeve at the end of the plunger socket.
