FIELD: medicine, traumatology, orthopedics. SUBSTANCE: out of external-lateral incision one should isolate dorsal strip of iliotibial tract to suture it from external tibial tubercle up to distal edge of lateral intermuscular septum and fix ligature's ends to cervix of a screw installed in femoral bone at Kaplan's fibers due to tension.
