FIELD: plastic metal working, possibly manufacture of intermediate blanks of titanium alloys by hot deforming. SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of forging ingot by several transitions at temperature in beta range and intermediate forging by several transitions at temperature in alpha and beta range; performing intermediate forging at temperature in beta range with forging reduction value 1.25 - 1.75; at final transitions performing intermediate forging with forging reduction value 1.25 - 1.35 for making rod; selecting diameter of said rod according to given expression; then mechanically working rod, cutting it by blanks and forming their ends; finally deforming blanks by extrusion at temperature in beta range; determining extrusion temperature according to given relation. EFFECT: possibility for making blanks with finely dispersed uniform microstructure, lowered labor consumption for making blank, reduced metal loss.
