When pressing out the as-yet unsolidified concrete roadbed (10) to form the rail chairs to required height (26), a press element (24) is pressed into the concrete through a foil or film type parting layer (22), using individual parting layers per chair location. In the case of several chair locations a length of parting material is used to cover the respective chair locations. The parting material is removed once the bed concrete has finally hardened. At the first stage the concrete is placed higher at subsequent rail chair locations and the press element should be structurized on its face meeting the roadbed concrete.
