DMIS compatibility test for coordinate measuring machines, uses standard test piece with alignment balls and range of standard geometric shapes

A DMIS (Dimensional Measuring Interface Standard) compatibility test uses a test piece aligned by three balls (K1-3) and including cube, bore, cylinder (ZL), cone (KL), slab (W1-5), line, free form (FF) or contour (KO) and other items around the edge of a plane (EB) and analyses the results for comparison between coordinate measuring machines and standards.
