FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves removing the rectum in one block with fat and lymphatic apparatus of inguinal, femoral and perineal area. Transabdominal mobilization of the rectum is carried out at the first stage. Double-sided inguinofemoroperineal lymphodissection is carried out at the second stage. Anal portion of the rectum is mobilized and rectum, fat and lymphatic apparatus are removed in one block. Lymphodissection is done beginning from peripheral areas in medially shifting the mobilized nodes and blood vessels. EFFECT: retained integrity of lymph vessels connecting the lymph nodes.
