Spray booth for roll train

摘要

Spray booth for the application of rust inhibitor to material which is being rolled is fitted in the roll train round it, so that the material passes continually through it. It contains a trolley mounted framework of spray guns mounted symmetrically round the workpiece material so as to form the corner of a star formed by the spray cones formed by their sprays. Care is taken that the workpiece profile facing a given spray cone takes up its full width so as to minimise wastage of spraying medium. The spray guns are mounted on universal joint type sliding clamps on the framework carrying them.
