The drive rod closing mechanism is esp. in the form of a side drive in the rebate of a window or door wing frame, as in 1947523. Continuous adjustment of the housing position is made possible by part of the housing, enclosing the drive rod and able to slide along it, while holes in the rod are provided over an extended area. Use is made of a pair of inserts (40) fitted in holes (34) in the drive rod (18), with a clamping effect along the drive rod and on both sides of the housing. Each insert pref. has two attachments, each engaging a hole. A thrust-limiting device can be subsequently installed. |
