A refrigerant composition consists of difluoromethane and monobromotrifluoromethane and has a boiling point below that of monobromotrifluoroethane. Compositions having such boiling points are those containing 8% or more of CBrF3; the azeotropic composition is 59 mole per cent CBrF3 and 41 mole per cent CH2F2 boiling at - 63.5 DEG C., and compositions containing from 33 to 82% of CBrF2 boil within 0.5 DEG C. of the azeotropic composition. |
