The invention concerns a flowable composition applying package (1) comprising a manual pumping bulb (3) forming a sealed reservoir (7) for storing the flowable composition (8) and having a dispensing opening (19) through which the flowable composition can be delivered outside the reservoir, and an applicator pad (4) having an inner surface (12) in direct contact with the flowable composition and an outer surface (13) for applying the flowable composition (8) onto a surface to be treated, said applicator pad (4) being adapted for allowing the flowable composition to diffuse up to the applying surface (13) when the pumping bulb (3) is squeezed. The applicator pad (4) includes at least one continuous layer (11), called filtering layer, permeable to the flowable composition when he pumping bulb (3) is squeezed, and impermeable to the flowable composition when the pumping bulb (3) is not being squeezed.
