Method to control the drawing of the rolled stock in a segment of the rolling line comprising at least a semi-finishing block (11) with multiple reduction passes with one or more motors (14) and a finishing or post-finishing block (12) with one or two reduction passes with its own motors (15a, 15b), wherein at least a measurement of the section of the rolled stock passing through (17) is made by a first detector (16a) located at the outlet of the semi-finishing block (11) and at least one measurement of the section is made by a second detector (16b) located at the inlet to the finishing block (12), the method providing to carry out at least a measurement of the section of the rolled stock (17) with a third detector (16c) located at the outlet of the finishing block (12), the drawing action being controlled and regulated by a control unit (18) by comparing the measurements of the section at the outlet of the semi-finishing block (11), at the inlet to the finishing block (12) and at the outlet thereof with the corresponding values memorised in tables (19) in the control unit (18), any divergences included in an admissible correction range with respect to the expected values being corrected by the control unit (18) acting in feedback on the drawing means (14, 15a, 15b) of the rolled stock (17) in the segment of the line so as to return the dimensional value of the section of the rolled stock (17) to around the expected value. <IMAGE> |
