<p>There is disclosed an antenna array comprising a plurality of sectors in the form of dielectric substrates arranged in a generally cylindrical configuration with antenna elements mounted on outwardly-facing surfaces of the substrates, and an RF switch for selectively activating the antenna sectors individually or in combination. In this way, a beam formed by the antenna array can be steered in direction, and backlobes can be reduced.</p> |
