ANTENNA POSITIONING METHOD AND DEVICE

FIELD: space broadcasting signal reception. SUBSTANCE: antenna angle of elevation is set according to receiving point location. After that antenna bearings are coarsely adjusted by means of first antenna broadcast by small increments to locate areas enabling error correction. In the course of positioning adjusting device of satellite receiver tries to find position of tuning frequency at which both demodulation and error correction are possible. If desired frequency fails to be found after scanning entire frequency range, antenna is turned through small increment. After point enabling error correction is found fine positioning procedure is initiated and antenna is turned to find bearing arc limits wherein error correction can be continuously made. Then antenna is positioned so as to set it approximately in center between two limits of this arc. EFFECT: simplified adjustment. 7 cl, 7 dwg
