A support system for solar panels (1), comprises at least one support section (2), which in cross-section defines an undercut cavity (6) having a narrowed opening (7), at least one fixing means (3), which comprise (5) screw means, a nut plate (14) that interacts with the screw thread (11) of the screw means (10), and a clamping plate (15), such that the nut plate (14) can be inserted through the opening (7) in the support section (2) and, by then turning it, can be hooked into the undercut cavity (6), the clamping plate (15) can be placed on the side of the panel (1) facing away from the support section (2) and the panel (1) can be clamped firmly on the support section (2) by tightening the screw means (10). The fixing means (3) comprise an auxiliary support (22) that is pushed onto the screw means (10) and is located between the nut plate (14) and the clamping plate (15), which auxiliary support (22) can be fastened to the support section. |
