A signalling procedure for data transmission mode via a link between a base station and a mobile station by means of at least one data transmission channel and a control/test channel, in which the data channel serves overwhelmingly for transmission of data and the test channel overwhelmingly for regulating the link. For at least one channel, it is signalled if diversification of the transmission (Transmit diversity) is used. An Independent claim is given for a mobile RF system with at least one base station.
