The device has a housing with 2 parts containing a carrying plate (3) with electrical/electronic components and contact elements (5) on the first housing part (1) with one end connected to an electrical connection of the device and the other end (12) protruding into the housing and into contact openings (6) in the carrying plate. The carrying plate is attached to the second housing part (2); by placing this part on the first housing part the second ends of the contact elements on the first part are pressed into the contact opening son the plate. AN Independent claim is also included for a method of manufacturing an inventive device, especially a sensor or controller.
