The invention relates to underground collecting mains for liquids, especially collector wells and drainage pipes. Said filter train consists of a wide-meshed perforated tube or grid tube (2) with sufficient mechanical stability to be inserted in a bore (1) in the soil and a filter material (3) disposed therein. The invention further relates to a method for introducing the filter train into predetermined layers of the soil.
