<p>A plurality of electrically independent RF antennas are arranged in a catheter so as to have different spatial sensitivity distributions. The catheter is inserted into an examinee and signals from the plurality of RF antennas are received simultaneously, so that a combined image is created in a short time with SN equal to or above the SN when a single RF antenna is used. Here, by increasing the electrical independence of the RF antennas, the image quality of the combined image is improved. Furthermore, a form image obtained from an RF reception coil arranged in the vicinity of the examinee is load-mapped and superimposed/displayed by a combined image obtained from the reception signal of the catheter RF antenna by adding weight and coloring, so as to easily grasp the position and advance direction of the catheter and the combined image from the catheter RF antenna.</p> |
