The hammer is fitted with a spike for creating a hole in a sandwich-type wall or in a door for the insertion of the bar shaped spraying device (1, 2), which is provided with a pointed tip (4) and a hammer hitting surface (6) at the opposite end (5). A nozzle (3) can be chosen according the situation, either suitable for creating a wide spray area or for reaching a fire at a distance. The oxygen supply of the fire is interrupted by the mist created by the nozzle (3) and expanding in the adjacent room or wall space.
