ELECTROMAGNETIC SEPARATOR

摘要

FIELD: separation of mixture into magnetic fractions in the course of processing and utilization of casting slags and mining industry. SUBSTANCE: proposed separator includes proportioner made in form of funnel with hole of varying diameter and separator proper which consists of two vertical ferromagnetic plates forming air gap between them. Inner surfaces of said plates are made in form teeth. Traveling magnetic field is formed in said gap by means of multi-phase winding located in slots of plates. Plates are assembled from electrical sheet steel. EFFECT: avoidance of formation of flocculi. 2 cl, 1 dwg
