The swivel motor has a stator (1) and a limited relatively turnable rotor (4), located between wheel disc and cover disc. The cover disc (6) is axially tensioned relative to the wheel disc (7) via at least one intermediate plate spring (11). The discs are connected to each other by U-shaped clamps (10). The plate spring is fitted into an aperture (18) in the cover disc. The stator has a jacket (2) projecting axially over the cover disc, and with a stop, e.g. a securing ring, on which the spring engages. The wheel disc is located on a hub (26) of the rotor.
