FIELD: sports, in particular, exercisers for athletic gymnastics. SUBSTANCE: apparatus has columns with barbell holders; barbell, load-counterweight, retainer, foot-type control member, and additional column on which load-counterweight is mounted. Load-counterweight has set of individual weights provided with axial through opening and having annular slot on their lower surface. Apparatus is further provided with movable platform arranged under load-counterweight for free movement along additional column and connected through cable-and-pulley system to barbell, and release mechanism controlled by foot-type control member and adapted to provide for load falling. Retainer is made in the form of rocker arm disposed inside additional column and having projection-tooth fixed on its upper end and inserted into annular slot formed on weight lower surface for fixing said weight on column. Lower end of rocker arm is spring-loaded and provided with angular projection oriented in direction opposite to projection-tooth. Wall of additional column is equipped with recesses for receiving of projections on rocker arm. Release mechanism has rotary lever, whose one end is spring-loaded and mechanically connected to foot-type control member and other end abuts against upper end of rocker arm so as to withdraw projection-tooth from slot on weight lower surface. Foot- type control member may be adapted for moving relative to user's legs or it may be made in the form of pedal adapted to be pressed for urging of release mechanism rotary lever to withdraw projection-tooth from retaining position. Barbell holders may be adjusted in vertical plane. Apparatus may be further equipped with foldable drop bench and set of sportive apparatuses for exercising of different groups of muscles. EFFECT: wider range of muscle exercising equipment, safe exercising of user, wider operational capabilities and increased efficiency of apparatus. 6 cl, 4 dwg |
