<p>The present invention, with reference to Figure 1, teaches a rigid intersection connection, wherein an elongated longitudinal member (1), a first elongated lateral member (4), and a second elongated lateral member (7) are joined by a one-piece rigid tie (10). The one-piece rigid tie (10) joins the first and second elongated lateral members (4, 7) to the elongated longitudinal member (1) with first, second, third, fourth, fifth and sixth fasteners (20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25). The one-piece rigid tie (10) has a central web member (19) to which three gussets (13, 16, 26) attach. Each gusset (13, 16, 26) in turn connects to two attachment tabs (11, 12, 14, 15, 17, 18). The attachment tabs (11, 12, 14, 15, 17, 18) are disposed against the elongated members (1, 4, 7) and are connected thereto by fasteners (20, 21, 22,23, 24, 25). <IMAGE></p> |
