Ethylene terpolymer waxes comprise by wt .ethylene units (35-95%); ester units (0.1-40%); and carboxylic acid units (0.1- 25%). Ethylene terpolymer waxes comprise by wt. ethylene units (35-95%); ester units of formula (I) (0.1-40%); and carboxylic acid units of formula (II) (0.1-25%). R1 and R4 = H, 1-10C alkyl, 3-12C cycloalkyl or 6-14C aryl; R2 = H or 1-10C alkyl; R3 = 1-10C alkyl, 3-12C cycloalkyl or 6-14C aryl; and n = integer 2-100 An Independent claim is also included for preparation of the terpolymer waxes.
