<p>In a supporting structure of a steering column for a motor vehicle for supporting a steering column by attaching the same to the car body through a support bracket, the support bracket is composed of: a primary member having a lateral cross section in the same shape and size over the entire length thereof, usable in common by plural car models, and forming a fit coupling portion; and a secondary member having a partial shape according to the body structure of a specific car model, and forming another fit coupling portion to be fit in or on the above fit coupling portion of the primary member to be coupled thereto in the longitudinal direction of the steering column. <IMAGE></p> |
