PURPOSE: A structure for a steering column with tilt and telescopic functions is provided to perform tilt and telescopic functions at the same time with one lever, to cut down the manufacturing cost and improve assembling efficiency by reducing the number of parts. CONSTITUTION: A structure for a steering column with tilt and telescopic functions comprises a lower tube(10) of which one side is combined to a hinge(12), having a fixing gear(11) at the proper position of the outer peripheral surface; an upper tube(20) of which one side is combined to the hinge, including a hole(21) at the right place; an inner tube(30) installed in the upper tube to slidingly move; a plate(40) fixed to the proper position of the outer peripheral surface of the upper tube and composed of a bent unit(42) at one end and a protruded piece(41) at the proper position; a bracket(50) fixed to the outer peripheral surface of the upper tube; a first shaft(51) disposed to the upper end of the bracket and formed with a first worm gear(52) at the side of the outer peripheral surface; at least one cam(60) fixed to the outer peripheral surface of the first shaft to selectively fix and move the inner tube; a lever(55) arranged to one end of the first shaft to rotate the first shaft; a second shaft(70) of which one side is inserted into the protruded piece of the plate, including a second worm gear(71) engaged with the first worm gear at the outer peripheral surface of the other side; a movable gear(22) engaged with at one end of the fixing gear; and a hanging piece(23) integrated with the movable gear and fixed to the right place of the second shaft.
