Ink-Jet recording material with improved ozone resistance

The upper and/or lower side of the dye-fixing layer in an ink jet recording material also having a carrier and an ink-absorbing layer is provided with a water-soluble compound having an ionic charge center and also having in an 0.1 molar aqueous solution a dissociation constant of 1x10-3 - 1x10-4 with a conductivity (lambda) of 6-25 mS at 25+/-1degreesC.
